Welcome to Sothpaw Designs

Yes, I know that it’s spelled wrong…. that’s on purpose. Well, welcome to Sothpaw Designs. When I was a little kid, I remember the day that Grampa got got his woodworking equipment delivered to his garage, and it was on that day that I fell in love with woodworking. Then life got in the way. I’m a high school Computer Science teacher, and have been so since 2000, but have always wanted to set up my own woodworking shop, partially as a hobby, and partially as the “side hustle”. In the summer of 2021, that dream became a reality, and Sothpaw Designs was born.

My shop isn’t impressive, and my skills aren’t advanced, but it’s a passion that continues to grow, and a sanctuary where I can go to be creative and unwind.
